As the minister and spiritual leader of FUMC, I would like to welcome you to our website. We are a multi cultural and diverse group of people who encourage each other on our faith journeys.
I have been pastor here since I was appointed in July 2005. I love preaching and leading worship. I also enjoy meeting and getting to know all those who worship in our faith community.
I am a 1996 graduate of Pacific School of Religion and ministry is my third career. I began working with the American Red Cross and served in a military field hospital during the Vietnam War as well as various military hospitals in the United States. I also spent 10 years working as the Director of the Retired Senior Volunteer program in San Francisco. I hope you enjoy browsing our website and that you will stop in to worship with us, if you are in our area.
Peace and Blessings
Rev. Nancy Landauer
I am an associate pastor for Christian Education. I was newly appointed in June 2007 by California-Nevada Annual Conference. FUMC is a multi-cultural and racial congregation. Although we are different in terms of age, skin color, gender, sexual orientation etc., we are more like in the love of God. I would like to welcome everyone to the love of God.
I received my Th. M. at Methodist Theological Seminary in Seoul, Korea and my baccalaureate from Ewha Women's University also in the Republic of Korea. I holds a M. Div. from Candler School of Theology at Emory University (Atlanta) and is completing a Ph. D. in Interdisciplinary Studies (Christian Spirituality and Psychology) at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley. My dissertation topic focuses on healing broken-heartedness of the young girls at a Korean juvenile reform school. I ministered at a Korean girls' reformatory for five years and through this service formulated my theology of ministry as the restoration of the image of God. My ministerial interest is in spiritual formation and transformation.
Rev. Jae Haeng Choi

I have been the choir director at FUMC since 1999. As choir director I try to bring a large variety of music into the church. The choir sings both traditional and contemporary anthems from spirituals to classics to praise songs. We encourage anyone who loves to sing to join us!
